So once again, this has been a stressful week. I learned that the driver I am subbing for has COVID. This is the forth week that he has been on the shelf so far. I don’t know if he’s coming back. Meanwhile, this miserable route has been kicking my ass. All week, I am up and down the highway averaging 102 miles on each shift. My bum is sore from sitting all day, and I have to pull myself apart every so often. I sit on the fuel pad every morning after my shift. Sometimes I wonder why should I bother going home. There’s only enough time to eat breakfast, take a nap, and then its back to work.
I thought I was going to be fired today for an incident that happened yesterday. I was so worried that I didn’t sleep much. I went to bed at 8:30pm, woke up after 1am; my mind racked with worry. Its bad enough that the girlfriend is unemployed at the moment. Thankfully, it never came to pass. But if it happened, I was thinking about taking the job offer for a tow truck driver. But I’ll decline the offer. It would mean having to work weekends and holidays in the rain, the sleet, snow, and nor’easters. No thank you. I see what the wrecker drivers go through at Jamie Davis Towing in British Columbia, Canada.
My sister sent me the following video. She is such a Patriot. You will not catch her selling out to the demon rats. If you are suffering from COVID, aka a mutated strain of the flu, or if you know someone that has COVID, please share this with them.

In other news, I was supposed to be moving to Wyoming, but it looks like I may be moving somewhere else. Plans are up in the air right now. But I have spent my last Halloween here. Thanksgiving and Yule will also be my last here. The girlfriend and I have three states in mind, and one state I would rather not go to. But I wouldn’t mind someplace in the South to be near my sister and my BFF. It would mean being so far from my daughter, who I love to pieces. Oh well. We have to do what is best for us.
I can tell you guys that I have a special surprise for my other half. I won’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you that once she signs the papers, she will have a new title. I’ll leave it to your imagination. So that’s all I have for now. I hope you have a good rest of your week.
