Correction on East Palestine Derailment

One thing about the accursed media is that they don’t always reveal the truth, so one has to speculate. Now I believe I have the real story. The derailment was not caused by the hot box detector. It was an overheated bearing. The hot box detector WAS functioning properly. The engineer and the conductor received the warning. The derailment happened as the train was in the process of stopping. Sparks were being thrown from the wheel, which means there was metal to metal contact. The wheel came apart, put the freight car on the ground, and that caused the derailment. I regret the error.
